Repeating history in north Minneapolis
The first class I took in my college career was a seminar on the History of North Minneapolis. Throughout the semester I ultimately created a research paper on the comparison of two distinguishing events in the Northside community: The burning of Plymouth Avenue in 1967 and the shooting of Jamar Clark in 2015.
